Platelet Poor Plasma (PPP)

Platelet Poor Plasma (PPP)

Platelet Poor Plasma (PPP) is a byproduct of Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP). The goal is to obtain only the plasma portion of the concentrate, eliminating the platelet and white blood cell layer. PPP is thought to improve chondrogenesis and cartilage repair, helping to slow down the degenerative process. PPP is the final step in our treatment protocol for orthopedic issues, following PRP, HA, bone marrow, and alpha-2 macroglobulin therapeutic modalities. This procedure often relieves pain for muscles, tendons, and ligaments. Regarding hair health, PPP combined with growth factors often results in improved hair density and healthier follicles.
